I am now downgrading my 4 star to a 2 star review after an unpleasant experience last week.n1. The young girl behind the counter was very inhospitable and made us feel very unwelcome.n2. We ordered medium Chai latte and were served these tiny glasses that hardly qualify as a small.n3. The salmon and scrambled eggs were just slapped on a plate and unattractive.nThe owner needs to have a serious discussion with his staff.
Loved the food and service at Ground Control Cafe. We dined there for lunch today. My husband had the big breakfast and I had the fried chicken and waffles.nCoffee was delightful! Definitely a place worth checking out.
Ground control is a nice place to come for a drink or lunch. Ideal kids corner and tasty blends of coffee. Great service from Kate and Jay! Thanks
Great new cafe, love the concept and their principles, which are reflected throughout. Great food options too, all tied into the same theme. Good coffee, and great outlook. Place was busy but service was quick. The only reason it's 4 and not 5 stars, is one service woman was rather incompetent, ordering didn't get/hear one of the four dishes right, and then tried to serve us someone else's order. Small blight on an otherwise great experience. Will be back again for sure.
Visiting this cafe was 100% out of convenience rather than planned, but what a treat it turned out to be.nnThe decor is lovely, the service was fine. I gave 4 out of five for service as we weren't ready to order on the first visit to our table, and only a couple of minutes later we were but no one came over, so I went to order at the counter. No biggie.nnThe food and coffee were delish and I mean 100% delish. They were visually pleasing, too. Pity I didn't take a photo. Gluten-free is becoming the norm now, but I haven't had such a good tasting gluten-free bagel in a long time. I'm not sure I would tell the difference between a wheat and this gluten-free one.nnAll in all, I really recommend this place.
