The food was good, nothing impressing. Three people got the fish and chips and the fish seemed fresh. The chips were okay, lots of little bits of fries, not whole fries. The tartar sauce was really vinegary. I got the veggie burger which was really, really good but the bun was extremely dry and ended up breaking apart. The atmosphere looked nice downstairs but the pub upstairs needed updates done. Overall, pretty good although the veggie options were really expensive 12-17$… would go for some beers because they had a good selection.
We had an absolutely amazing dinner, with a 1 000 000$ view. Wow, if you have the opportunity to eat here and enjoy the live entertainment, what a great opportunity. The view especially at sunset is exquisite. The food here was unreal, we enjoyed the 10oz AAA Sirloin steak, double baked potatoes and fresh beans, second meal was the cheese and chicken linguine. The food is incredible, atmosphere is amazing
We loved this spot and were so lucky to get in right away they don’t take resos and it is busy but I’d be more than willing to wait to eat this again. We split the Lobster Roll and Lobster Mac N Cheese off the seasonal lobster menu- wow! Both were incredible but the highlight is definitely the Mac N Cheese. So rich, creamy and indulgent, loaded with TONS of perfectly cooked lobster. Amazing ambiance, great live music, beautiful harbour front view. Be prepared for slower service as it’s extremely busy but 100% worth it. They don’t take reservations bc they definitely don’t need to!
We had a great lunch today to celebrate my dad's birthday. Service was excellent, good was reasonably priced and delicious. Our table was a bit wobbly, but this did not interfere with us having a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!
We start with local a dozen Of Mabou oysters with Nova Scotia Chardonnay Wine follow by Lobster dinner,Caesar salad, steamed mussels, seafood chowder, seafood pescatore and Calamari. Everything was delicious except fried calamari. It was quite salty. The sever and staff were very friendly and they have lots of outdoor seating area facing waterfront. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
Great establishment! They had entertainment both upstairs and down, the staff and food was great, and it’s a beautiful location - right on the waterfront. We’ll definitely go back!
Good and service was outstanding! Everything was super fresh. The oysters were so good best oysters I’ve ever tasted! Highly recommend you go here!
The view from the beer garden is amazing and it was really nice to hear the live music! The fish & chips and the calamari were delicious. My only complaint is about the pan-fried haddock - it was super bland. Service was a little slow but they were friendly.
Stopped by here for a round of Guinness. This is a fairly big place with both upstairs and downstairs dining, and as others have mentioned, the views of the harbor are superb. We shared the lobster won ton appetizer, which was very good. If we ever get back to Sydney we’ll visit again for dinner.
The restaurant part is downstairs and the pub is on the second floor. The food and service were very good. The building is historic and the interior still maintains an elegant atmosphere.
