Cool view even though you cant walk on it
Beautiful & quiet!! n_nb
Governors Bay Jetty is near collapse. Three piles rotted away and nearby deck collapsing. Three million dollars required for restoration. Scenic graded gravel walk around shoreline starts at the jetty with views of nearby Quail Island, home of abandoned Lepper quarintine station.
The pier is permanently closed
Lovely walk around the foreshore track from here. Jetty itself is unsteady at the moment, so closed for safety's sake. But the jetty restoration trust are working on saving it - it will be lovely again!
Nice view, just can't go on to the jetty. It's blocked. But they say there is a geocache at the end of the jetty, one must kayak there.
The jetty is currently closed but the view is still the same : very nice place to go for a walk
Gentle walk from Allendale. Awesome geological features. Jetty out of bounds
