A privately owned and operated swim school catering for babies from 5 months of age up to school aged swimmers who have mastered free, back & breaststroke.

Story

Swimming lessons for 5mth olds through to school aged swimmers. Small, private and warm environment ideal for delivering focused tuition to young children. A structured and ever evolving programme which has been developed and delivered by professionally trained swim teachers.
Bumble Bees is locally owned and operated by Blair and Karen McMillan, who also own McMillan's Aquatic Centre. We are passionate about teaching children to swim and to gain a life skill so that we all can use and explore our water environments around us.

We have been coming to bumble bees for 5 year for swimming lessons. They are amazing very professional and have great teachers.
Such a wonderful place and amazing teachers. We've had a really excellent experience here and my daughter's water confidence is testament to their care and expertise.
Outstanding staff who make lessons enjoyable and stress-free. My son LOVES swimming there, and we've noticed such an amazing confidence boost since he began classes. Would highly recommend Bumble Bees for anyone looking for a swim school.

Such a great place for little ones to learn to swim.. wonderful instructors and dedicated staff.. my 11 year old has gone through the whole program and now I'm back at the start with my nearly 1 year old. Loving being back!
An amazing place to have your children taught swimming. Both kids have started around age 1 and had great instructors in a well catered for environment. Small groups for lessons means more instruction for each child. A play pen for children to be in while you get changed and all staff super friendly!! Cannot recommend this place enough!!
Most fantastic swim school. I have all three of my children 1, 5 and 7yrs attend and all of them are confident and have a love of water. This has all been down to the superb teaching they have received. Would recommend to everyone!!!

Amazing swim school, small classes and the only kids in the pool means no distractions. Teachers are fantastic, respect the children and their fears/hesitations in lessons while still encouraging them to push beyond limits.
