Sailing School in Lyttelton Harbour - 30ft training yacht
The Learn2sail sailing school began operating alongside the powerboat courses offered by Maritime Training in 2008, The school took over adult learn-to-sail courses from Canterbury Sailing School in early 2008, and has flourished under his direction. Dudley Jackson, Peter Marshall and Mark Quail are occasional tutors on the sail training keeler Good Point, a lovingly crafted timber Whiting 30, rigged for racing. Our instructors hold the necessary commercial qualifications. (Local Launch Operator at minimum) and have thousands of sea hours between them.
