Wow, this garden is absolutely stunning! The colors are just incredible, and it looks so peaceful and relaxing. I could totally spend hours wandering around and taking it all in.nThat garden is truly a sight to behold, I'm so impressed! The vibrant colors and meticulous arrangement of the plants create such a calming atmosphere. It's clear a lot of love and care has gone into cultivating this space. I especially admire the way the different textures and heights are used to enhance the overall design.
Government Gardens is a beautiful, serene spot that perfectly blends nature, history, and culture. The gardens are immaculately kept, with vibrant flowers, wide open lawns, and lovely walking paths that make it a joy to wander at any pace.nnThe historic buildings and Māori influences add so much character, and it’s a great place to slow down, take photos, or simply sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Whether you’re visiting Rotorua for the first time or just passing through, this is an easy, calming stop that feels both enriching and relaxing.
We came at the onset of spring and the flowers have not exactly bloom or if would have been better eg the rose garden were just seedlings when we came. However, some interesting places like the hot springs and statues of old war heros. Recommended especially to those who like walking, calming places and history buffs.
Just saw the roses were in bloom when we were driving around. Very relaxing place and flowers were so beautiful.
Nice green space with various pieces of art and Māori sculptures. Really enjoyed walking around and visiting the thermal spring area too.
