Visiting Government Gardens in Rotorua was a delightful experience for my wife and me. The serene atmosphere, beautiful gardens, and stunning architecture made our day memorable. We enjoyed strolling around the well-maintained pathways, admiring the colorful flowers, and taking in the soothing ambiance. The historical significance of the site added an extra layer of charm to our visit. Overall, it's a must-see destination for anyone exploring Rotorua.
Beautiful grounds. More flowers wouldn't go amiss. Good for walk in a warm day
Nice mix of formal and informal planting separated by vast expanses of lawns. It's major attraction is the museum but that's closed due to earthquake damage so probably only worth visiting the gardens if you're passing.nMonument to Sgt Fred W Wylie is a reminder of times sadly past when people's sacrifices were appreciated.
Lots of beautiful flowers and some hot springs. Not very busy so a leisurely stroll.
Beautiful garden with well maintained lawns. Lot of areas to walk and lot of benches are available.nThe museum looks beautiful from the garden. However, it was closed so couldn't go inside.nThere were monuments and preserved trees which adds the beauty to the garden.nOn the sides of the building beautiful trees were there.
