The Golden Mile Brewing Co was born along the biking haven of The Golden Mile in Marlborough, New Zealand.

Based within The Vines Village along the world famous wine producing area of Rapaura Road, Golden Mile Brewing has created a cycle friendly beer range, perfect for celebrating that epic New Zealand ride. GMB invites you to savour the clean, crisp and classic beer range perfect for the off and on road adventurers.

Founded in July 2017 by twin brothers Jeff & Tim Fulton, Golden Mile Brewing was created to provide the bikers from the Marlborough region with a classic range of sessionable, easy drinking beer.

Jeff & Tim saw a gap in the local market for a sessionable easy drinking lighter beer option. Jeff says "many of the hospitality destinations in Marlbrough are rural and remote and full-on IPA's aren't very popular when you have to drive or boat home". Tim agrees saying "Also bikers are a great market for Marlborough being flat, sunny and many world famous cellar doors within easy reach. So our beer range has been created for bikers of all types to enjoy post-ride".

The Golden Mile Brewing range includes:

GRAND TOUR LAGER (3.8%) - Fresh with balanced malt and hoppiness, the Grand Tour is a smooth, sessionable and moreish Lager, perfect for sharing with hungry fellow riders.

Grand Tour Lager is a sessionable easy drinking lager. It is traditionally made with a long cold ferment which gives a characteristic smoothness and crisp finish. Some subtle malt sweetness balanced with delicate hops gives this beer it's classic lager drink-ability.

The starting point of the range, a popular and wide-appealing beer for thirsty riders and explorers alike on your Grand Tour of New Zealand.

CRANK DARK ALE (4%) - A Dark Ale with chocolate notes and a smooth, rich, malty base, carefully brewed with a nod to porters from London in the 18th century.

Traditional English style with UK Fuggle hops. Sweet and chocolatey from crystal + chocolate malts. sweet finish with some dry toasty mid pallet flavours, a very sessionable dark mild ale.

Ideally matched with hearty winter menus or round the fire post-ride.


PELOTON PILSNER (4.6%) - A classic dry style Pilsner with a sweet hop aroma and balanced flavour, crafty enough for all riders in the peloton.

A German styled pilsner made with some earthy herbal German hops and new NZ hops to give winey, grapey aroma and flavours. Balanced bitterness exemplifying nice bready malt and firm bitterness from hops.
