If you want real baking from passionate people then Gilbert's is your one stop shop although they are also at the farmers market on Saturdays. Their catering is fantastic. They even do vegan!
I came in late with no idea what I wanted and old mate completely set me up with exactly what I ended up needing. Best service I've had in a long time
I work down the road from Gilbert’s and go in and grab a sandwich, pie, wrap or a baked item from time to time and they’re always super tasty. The dark chocolate NOREOS are crazy good and the pies are honestly the best I’ve had in the 14 years I’ve been in New Zealand.
Had a good muffin and fritatta. The pretzels were over baked. The drink I got was out of date.
Horrible stale tasting slice of chocolate cake. Brought 3 slices all were revolting.
A seriously great cake, enjoyed by all. Not a cake connoisseur but will definitely be coming back
