One night stay only,the exteri doesn't do justice to the interior ambiance! It's old world charm of muted browns and iron side lighting. Our room was warm comfy and had a brilliant bathroom. The Hostess really pleasant and helpful, even produced cooked breakfasts. Really early! So, ignore the exterior and give. It a try! Raymond an Suzanne Seniors

Lovely accommodation and comfy beds in a handy location as well. Thank you to the manager for waking up for us before 7am to check us in after a 7hr drive. And even texted us to offer breakfast but we were fast asleep. Thank you so much, we definitely be back and let all our family and friends know about your awesome accommodation.

Feels posh and bespoke. We were very lucky to stumble upon this place. Stayed here for a conference held in the larger hotel up the road and I think this one is much nicer and cleaner. Quieter too. Like staying in your wealthy English aunt’s beautifully furnished guesthouse. Exceptional customer service, they remember us and I never had to wait in a queue to speak to someone knowledgeable. Highly recommend booking here and just walking to your conference.

Excellent rooms,very classic. Location is ideal if you want to travel South Island the next day as for the price in compared with what you would pay in Wellington for a classic stay like this, its really cheap. The customer service was awesome. Friendly staff and lovely people.

Pleasant rooms. Comfy bed. Asked if I could have a late checkout the lady wanted to charge $20. Wasn't impressed most places are very accommodating to let you stay free of charge for up to an hour.
