This was really clean and comfortable, with a little patio outside. Sadly they are victims of staff shortages so the bar and restaurant are closed. The woman at reception was lovely, so friendly and helpful. At one stage she was was having to do extra long shifts and housekeeping duties herself because of no staff but kept going with a smile on her face. Would go back there just because of her loyalty.
Lovely clean room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows. They were great waiting for us as we were late off ferry. Easter eggs in our room was a lovely thought on Easter Sunday. We will be back.Rooms: 5/5
I was more than happy with the room it was large absolutely spotless. Check in at reception was easy and I was even escorted and showed my room. I would definitely recommend it as a very cost effective place to stay for the night on business.Rooms: 5/5
Very helpful and a friendly welcome. Had a lovely room which was clean. Definitely feels like a 5 star plus. Shame restaurant and bar weren't open due to covid, but I will be back so hopefully it will be in the not too distant future. Lovely accommodation. Thank youRooms: 5/5
Stayed one night. Warm and comfortable. Nice staff. Toilet had not been cleaned in my room before arriving as had skid marks in bowl and filthy between bowl and wall. Shelf holding towels was dirty. Coffee table needs replacing or resurfacing. There is a bar on-site but not sure if open as no information given.Rooms: 2/5
They have double charged me and despite insisting they are going to refund the money back they have not done so...my suggestion is you don't give them ur credit card details Stayed October...charged again in December
Had a great stay here in the Waitangi weekend. We were a large group of 22 incl children and felt very comfortable during our short stay. The manager Randhir allowed us to use the bar spaceclosed due to covid for our dinner which worked our superbly for a large group like ours rather than cramming into someone's room. Rooms have names & not numbers which is pretty unique. Rooms were well kept, mattresses a bit too jiggly, but only for a night so were not a show stopper. Shower pressure was excellent. Would def recommend for a quick stay while in Masterton.
Great Motel. Feels more like a hotel actually. The owners go the extra mile. We arrived late and the heat pump was running already welcoming us to a warm, clean and spacious room. Had a great time using the spa bath. Everything you’d need. Would definitely stay there again.
This was going to be a five star review on arrival the room was big and beautiful, staff were friendly. Once going to bed I discovered bodily fluids on the outer bed cover by the pillows, bed was awful and springs worn. Breakfast not worth $20. The staff and owners have taken feedback well and generally care about their customers so it would be worth another stay if these things were improved as the accomodation is really nice and good value for money compared with places down the road I have stayed at.
Room was nice, dark, but fridge smelt, told the owners, they cleaned it but the smell can back, and two big stains on floor. And cars aren't but units make a long trip with bags. Great people to deal with, very nice rooms. Would stay again.
