Great menu and drink choices with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Accommodated us without a booking. Menu needs a little more detail - ordered a burger that turns out has quite a hot sauce and couldn't eat it. Was advised afterwards as if I should have known.
Staff were super friendly, toilets clean and not unisex yay! and a great vegetarian choice on the menu. I had the onion bhaji burger and loved it! We also stayed till close and not once did they feel the need to ask us to leave despite us pushing the limit on a quiet midday week night!
If you’re looking for a classic Apres-ski Pub in Queenstown, this is it. Owned by a local brewery Cargo has great beer, fun service, classic kiwi twist on pub food, and importantly amazing garden with big fire. They attract fabulous local artists and cater for groups. Must visit for your next trip here !
When in Arthur Point, this is the place for dinner. It has heated outdoor sitting, but we chose to sit inside. Nicely situated just when i finished my onsen. We order the Tumeric and Potato Parathas, Pork Popcorn and Roast Beetroot The food was good. We enjoyed every bit of it. They have full range of drinks and alcohol, but we did not drink after our onsen.
Went for a nice meal and good beer. Beautiful weather made us enjoy their patio settings. Good food options for vegeteriansFood: 5/5
Lovely atmosphere, staff are friendly - not a lot of food selections, in fact most of them are with bread. Small banh mi costs $20 ‍ it would be nice for just a couple of drinksFood: 1/5
Went there for a light dinner around 5 pm. The place was almost empty, so I assume that the kitchen wasn't busy: but my food arrived almost cold and looked like microwaved leftovers. I also had a latte but I didn't like it: too strong and bitter. Paid around 40$ for that experience:. P.S. The staff was busy chatting, so no one bothered to ask if I was happy with my order:
No food, just a food truck in the garden, high wine prices with credit card costs added, cost us $40 for the privilege to sit and drink our wine. Going down hill fast! How did they get the 'Best Cafe in the country'? Our 2 glasses weren't even the same size! Pretty sad to see the old Gantley's reduced to this .Food: 1/5
Fantastic, spacious outside and indoor rustic inside. Staff were pleasant and happy to help. Food was well put together and balanced perfectly. We went there two nights in a row when we normally like to try new restaurants.Food: 5/5
The atmosphere, food/drinks and staff are all amazing; especially Courtney. She’s incredibly personable and welcoming. Looking forward to going back!Food: 5/5
