I have been to Franklins a handful of times and haven't had any bad experiences here so far. All of their staff was very polite and they checked on us regularly to make sure that we were satisfied with our food and drinks, without being intrusive.nThe food at Franklins is delicious. I am particularly a big fan of their pizzas and chips, which are great value for money. They are also ideal for sharing with others.nI will definitely be coming back here.
Went for drinks and apps with friends. Ended up ordering fish & chips for dinner which was excellent with their catch of the day. There are a few patio seats outside and lots of seating inside. It was a comfortable atmosphere with great service and friendly staff.

We’ve been loyal locals to Franklins for years—but after this, we’re done.nnOrdered their $24.90 “Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta” on Uber Eats and got two soggy hamburger buns with toppings. Disgusting. I contacted the restaurant directly, and they admitted fault and promised a refund. I sent my bank details.nnThen suddenly—nothing. They ghosted and pushed it off to Uber Eats, who now refuse to refund because the issue was already flagged. So I’m left with a bad meal, a broken promise, and wasted time.nnJoining Uber Eats should never be an excuse to serve subpar food or dodge responsibility. That’s exactly what happened here.nnFranklins used to be one of our go-to spots. Now we’ll be warning others to think twice.
Beautiful food. Large menu with huge variety. Love the atmosphere here, it's half bar and half restaurant. Staff are very attentive. Recommend making bookings here.
