Went for drinks and apps with friends. Ended up ordering fish & chips for dinner which was excellent with their catch of the day. There are a few patio seats outside and lots of seating inside. It was a comfortable atmosphere with great service and friendly staff.

Love the easy going vibe and friendly staff. Good selection of craft beers on tap and food is really good. I had the Wagyu beef check gnocchi which came in a divine sauce! But on the pricey side but worth it.
We’ve been loyal locals to Franklins for years—but after this, we’re done.nnOrdered their $24.90 “Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta” on Uber Eats and got two soggy hamburger buns with toppings. Disgusting. I contacted the restaurant directly, and they admitted fault and promised a refund. I sent my bank details.nnThen suddenly—nothing. They ghosted and pushed it off to Uber Eats, who now refuse to refund because the issue was already flagged. So I’m left with a bad meal, a broken promise, and wasted time.nnJoining Uber Eats should never be an excuse to serve subpar food or dodge responsibility. That’s exactly what happened here.nnFranklins used to be one of our go-to spots. Now we’ll be warning others to think twice.
The restaurant we went to yesterday was okay in terms of environment, and the service was decent too. The food looked fine, the pizza was alright, but the ribs were truly memorable—for all the wrong reasons. I’ve never had ribs this tough, like chewing on rubber. It felt like I was gnawing on my own belt. The flavor was mediocre, and after eating just half, my jaw was sore. Definitely not worth the $43.nnWhen I mentioned it to the server, they checked with the chef and said, “That’s just how it’s made.” No apology, no acknowledgment. Maybe these ribs were air-dried for a year and completely lost their moisture. That said, if you’re curious about what it feels like to chew on a belt, go ahead and give it a try. On the bright side, my dog thoroughly enjoyed this $43 “chewy” rib meat. LOL
