It was just okay. Mum had steak and ale pie which she enjoyed. I had the lamb rump but it was quite a small serving. Not worth the $40 price tag; $30 max.nDesserts were underwhelming and incredibly expensive. $17.90 for a sticky date pudding?! I expected something great but left wanting more really.nLower your prices and we'll be back!nVery dim lighting and breezy. Very loud too.
Most tender meat I’ve ever had. Great flavours. Staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. Lovely cocktails and the garlic pizza bread was delicious.
Took my partner here for dinner on his birthday recently, we were lucky we got there before 6pm so there were soooo many tables available. Service was so incredibly fast, all the staff were super lovely and helpful, the food and drinks were absolutely fantastic and the place just FELT nice to be in.nnWe highly, HIGHLY recommend the wagyu beef risotto balls, the crispy cauliflower I had NO idea cauliflower could taste like that!!!, and even the side dish of local Pukekohe vegetables was insanely good.nWe thoroughly enjoyed our mains, we ended up getting the pulled pork burger and the fried chicken burger we had planned to get things other than burgers, but we are so glad we tried the options we did. Everything we tried was absolutely incredible, we'd wanted to get dessert but by the time we'd finished our mains we were just too full nnWe are DEFINITELY heading back, and after seeing how the place accommodates for kids, we'll definitely be bringing the family next time. 10/10 guys, absolutely mind blowing, really made his birthday feel extra special
Food was generally well liked around the table. Mac Attack Pizza was delicious. We had a group of 23 and had booked plus pre ordered our meals as requested. What we were not told was that the meals would be placed on the table right on the booking time, to the minute, regardless if everyone had arrived and was seated or not. Every single guests complained about this as none of us have ever experienced this before. If this is the restaurant rule than that’s 100% ok but communication regarding this would have made the evening more enjoyable.
Came here for dinner. Really nice place. They were quite busy and we didn't have reservations so didn't get a seat in the nicer area but the atmosphere here we were seated close to the bar was still really goodnnStaff was super friendly and helpfulnnThe food was quite good. Not blown away by anything but everything was on point including the deserts.nnBathrooms were not the cleanest but then again it was later in the evening and sadly as we know most peeps can't clean up after them self so probably not the fault of the placennParking is a little bit of a pain. There are some 60min parking around and a hand full of 120min. My first day in Pukekohe so perhaps there is parking somewhere the locals know about that I just didn't see
