Two nights in here following TKJR. Choose this hospital to utilize the robot for the surgery even though I live in central Auckland. Surgeon Jarome Bentley and anaethetist Mike Webb were both amazing and considerate. Nursing staff were fantastic and very personable right from preop visit through to post op. Special mention to the nurse Helen, she was wonderful. I'm a nurse also so do recognise great care. Staff seem very content also. Physio was very cheerful and professional. Nurse director even popped in on second day to check all was well. Very clean and new building. Meals perhaps could see a little improvment and maybe introduce a menu choice system. Great place great team, well done
By far the best care I’ve ever received in Auckland. The staff here are genuinely lovely people. Food was delicious too! I couldn’t be more grateful for being transferred to Franklin Hospital for my surgery, as I’ve had countless traumatic experiences at Middlemore & Akl Hospital. 5/5 Stars
