Absolutely fantastic treatment from start to finish. The staff were lovely - from reception to surgical to the nurses on the ward. This hospital has an amazing team. They did such a thorough job and were so considerate throughout the process. The food was delicious and the facilities are so clean. Best hospital care I’ve ever experienced, wouldn’t want to go anywhere else in future, can’t praise this place enough.
Have just had a total knee replacement at franklin hospital and wow what an absolute amazing place from my surgeon Rocco to my 2 x nurses!!! Amazing service and amazing level of care and empathy. Can not fault this place at all. Can not forget the food!!! Take your hat off franklin hospital, then food is of restaurant quality. The team has made an extremely painful surgery that much easier to bare. So so good. Keep up the great work. Would give more stars if was able. Thanks Dean Hellyer
Be aware that if you self fund your procedure at this hospital the invoice they insist that you pay before you leave may not be the full and final amount. You should insist on a full and final invoice before you pay the amount they ask you for at reception.nnIn my case a 'forgotten' charge was added to my original invoice 6 weeks after my procedure and reissued with a comment stating that there was a shortfall in payment. I had paid exactly the amount they asked for on discharge which is the Hospital policy.nnNote the receptionist had checked with the medical staff before I paid what the charges should be.
All the staff were kind, caring and attentive, from the admin staff at the front desk to all the nurses who helped when needed and assisted me to my taxi the following day and organised my medication from the pharmacy downstairs, they all made my stay there so much better. The facilities were inviting & comfortable and the meals were delicious. Thank you for making the experience of surgery that much better
I had surgery at Franklin Hospital a couple of days ago, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff made me feel welcome and were very comforting and supportive. Every team member helped me feel at ease when i was extremely anxious about having surgery especially with two little children. I was also nervous about how they would handle my situation as we have no extended family in Auckland. This ment my husband needed to bring our two youngest two years and 4 months old to the hospital with him when he came in to visit me. I was wanting to be considerate of other patients and staff so being made to feel like we were no trouble made a world of difference. I’m so very grateful for the care I received and the compassion that was shown to me by everyone. Thank you to the entire team for your support, I am truly greatful and appreciate you all.
