I was very much a regular at Flex since moving from Auckland. At the start the people were friendly etc but after a while I noticed a bit of a cold shoulder. The new owner then asked if I had written a 2 star review about them which I denied. They still made me sit around the back room until I could prove it wasn't me. My name is Dan and the person who wrote the bad reviews name was Steve. I would expect after working out there for so long at least one person would have noticed my name. Worst part was no apology. We all have differing reasons for going to the gym. Mine is stress relief. It's the last time I'm using Flex, I'm at Jetts now where the staff aren't too cool for school. Hopefully these guys will figure out a gym is a place for all shapes and sizes.. m don't go making people feel uncomfortable. And learn your punters names!!! Big gym little pond
I have never felt more comfortable or welcomed at a gym. All of the staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely care. The gym is a great set out, never too busy so it's not overwhelming and the equipment is regularly updated to the best on the market. Highly recommend checking it out for yourself!
I changed to flex about a month ago and I’m honestly impressed In every way. Staff and other gym goers are so friendly and I feel like I can ask anyone for help if needed. The equipment feels so smooth when using. The whole layout and set up is aesthetically pleasing. Doesn’t get to busy either the times I go which is a bonus! I’m so glad that I changed the flex. Flex palmy even has smoothies that I’m yet to try they look so yum!
Flex Fitness is more than 5-Stars. The staff are friendly and approachable, they are highly qualified and knowledgeable in the Health and Fitness industry. They are passionate and relatable. The gym itself is well kept, great quality equipment which is constantly up-kept, monitored and changed or replaced when needed to meet the highest quality. Flex Fitness isn’t just a gym its a family, you walk in feeling comfortable, welcomed and reassured. The owners of the gym are very hands on within the business with is amazing, it creates a feel good atmosphere and shows members or members to be that they care and they are 100% committed to the day to day operation of their gym. I couldn’t recommend Flex fitness enough! If you are looking for a new gym to call home or wanting to get into the gym, flex fitness Palmerston North is the place to go! Quality gym, quality equipment, quality staff = Quality experience and quality workout
Absolutely outstanding gym, great staff who are extremely knowledgeable. Top of the line equipment with consistent upgrades and The owners kels and Darryl are just super lovely people whom are very approachable and strive to make the gym a relaxed and all rounded place to be. highly recommend A+++
Absolutely the best gym in town, heaps of parking. All the equipment is top notch and clean. The staff are so friendly supportive and very helpful. GHD straightener and dryer plus bathrooms are always kept fresh. P.s free deodorant if you forget yours. Sign up IMMEDIATELY
Such a great gym! Friendly family environment! The owners are constantly thinking about what they can do to improve the gym for its members. Love that its not insanely busy either! 10/10 recommend
Absolutely rate this gym compared to others I’ve been to. Staff are always friendly and have great knowledge of their products they sell. Top of the line training advice with amazing coaches working out of here!
Can't complain really. It is a nice upgrade from my previous gym. 24/7 showers, 2 platforms, cable machines but my personal favourite is the boxing bag. It is isolated and has its own space so you can go hard without any interference. People there are nice and friendly, easy to get along and won't hesitate to help if required. Other gym goers I've seen are chill and friendly and it's quite easy to get to. Overall, a solid gym that caters for anyone who wants to be a better them. Cheers.
Would give zero stars if possible. Partner had an accident and is on ACC. She has been trying for over a month to cancel or ATLEAST suspend her NON-CONTRACTED gym membership. Darrel has been making it impossible while being argumentative and asking for proof and ACC medical certs which is unreasonable and an invasion of privacy. Extremely unreliable customer service from Darrel agreeing to at least halt her payments and nothing is still yet to happen. Ploys in customers with "free" body scans that don't exist they are $40 just so you know. Says he'll do something, then he will do nothing and throw it on you for being disgruntled. You pay more for a contract free membership for flexibility, not to be messed around at every turn and have your medical records expected of you.
