Set in the heart of downtown Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world, Flame Bar and Grill has some of the best views in town.

Story

Flame. A secret South African BBQ recipe wrapped around amazing ribs and steaks. We’re a restaurant of course but we pride ourselves on the welcoming and enthusiastic service we bring to every table. Entertainment from start to finish. The views are stunning, the team are hand-picked for their passion and our warm welcome is just the beginning of what we hope will be a long and happy friendship.

Within walking distance of all major hotels and just metres away from Queenstown bay, you will smell the alluring aroma of Flame food before you even find us. Follow your nose and you will find us tucked away upstairs and embark on an eating adventure you are sure to enjoy.

The rib eye steak was to die for, Flame is my absolute favourite restaurant in New Zealand. Every time I visit Queenstown this is a must have. Mushroom sauce and Blue cheese sauce are also amazing. Staff are always so accommodating, efficient and polite. Best place you can go for dinner. Not badly priced either.
We hit the absolute jack pot coming here, the customer service was excellent, the cocktails were dreamy and the food was to die for. Highly recommend the dry aged rib eye on a bone for 2, my husband and I enjoyed it. Our 3 daughters also enjoyed this restaurant, they love a kids menu that includes ribs.

Always excellent. Very filling, extremely tasty and beautiful cocktails. Wouldn't recommend if your not into flame grilled meat!
Hands down one of the best places ive eaten the fillet steak with mushroom sauce and mash was divine not to mention the ribs! Dessert was also well on point as well as the drinks. Would definantly be returning when in Queenstown next!
Their shared platter was overpriced and so disappointing taste wise! They use the same sauce on all different types of meats! Doesn’t matter if you order chicken, lamb, beef, pork... you will get the exact same taste as they are all covered in the same yuck sauce! The only things we enjoyed were their cocktails and Cesar salad.
Best rib I ever had in NZ. It’s great they moved to the bigger places that have better views and more room. Prawn and mussels are cooked in Asia style, creamy and tasty. The service is good too. It’s the first restaurant I always go in QT
Nice food, Good lake view. Friendly staff. You deserve 5 star for sure.
