Fisherman's Wharf Café

This restaurant/cafe is fabulous. Have been a few times now and never disappointed. The fish is fresh and beautifully cooked. Lovely views out to the harbour if you sit near the windows. Very busy over the holiday period. They also run takeaways next doors and that is very popular as well. Have yet to try this.

As close to perfect fish n chips as it gets. The batter was light and perfect. Highly highly recommended. Service with a huge smile even though it was his first shift. A+

Great. We had fish and chip lunch with Alzheimer's group. Simple, but yummy and bless them, all money was donated back to Alzheimer's. Lovely people. Great location.

Disappointed. Lack of exterior signage made it hard to find this place. The seafood basket was really average and overpriced. Local fish and chips would be much better value for money.

To be fair this is probably the best value for money dining in Whakatane. Always happy to see diners, menu is delicious, reasonably simple fare but cooked to perfection. We just keep on going back, it's that good
