Fisher House

Visited the Fisher House recently for a wedding. I was impressed with everything they offered. First of all, the vibe is like family home because of its settings. The food was nice and fresh. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The indoor and outdoor flows are great.

A very disappointing Mother’s Day brunch today with my family. Service from the owner was terrible from the moment we walked in. We were late, which we acknowledged, but no excuse for the customer service that followed. Not a single smile - just a cold “this way”.nnThe servers were perfectly fine - polite, smiled and got our meals quickly.nnWhen we went to pay the owner said “I don’t have time to split the bill”. We hadn’t been given any prior warning of this when we booked and when we told him this he made up an excuse about not being the one to take the booking and that it was standard for group bookings. Standard or not - there was no excuse for the tone can’t be bothered, bored or delivery rude, unapologetic. A simple acknowledgement and apology would have made all the difference but instead we were made to feel like it was our fault. He was so rude that we vowed never to return and his response was “and we’ll be glad not to have you”.nnI have never ever been made to feel this way by a restaurant and certainly not the owner. I will never return to this place and would recommend to anyone reading this to do the same. Go spend your hard earned money somewhere where you will be made to feel welcome, not here!!

Fantastic high tea done right on Saturday such a superb successful bridal party for my guests they had mentioned thenGreat location beautiful atmosphere with awesome surroundings. Did not compromise at all with outstanding customer service quality food and sweets thank you to the team at fisher house and Taylor for your can do positive attitude so accommodating! 5 stars
