Amazing dating place from our own experience! It's perfectly located right next to the bus stop and New World in the Mount. Very spacious inside and love its design and decoration, especially the fireplace. Amazing vibe for dating or friends gathering. What's more amazing is the food, especially the beef wellington which blew my partner's mind, the snapper is also very decent. Reasonable price, I mean the food and its portion is definitely worth that price. And yes the service is also impeccable, they all wear a smile and are very friendly. Can't complain at all. We have been to almost all the high-class restaurants in Tauranga and the Mount, this one is probably so far our favourite.
A top class dinner experience. It totally emptied our pockets, but we left contented with full bellies. The waiting staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and were good to recommend options for Coeliacs. The steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection. Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options for Coeliacs or Gluten Free preferences. Plenty of meat options for carnivores!
Outstanding dining experience. The staff, the ambience, the style and oh my goodness the food. Outstanding. The first time we had the chef’s steak platter - brilliant. And do be tempted by the dessert cocktails. It’s a must. Can’t wait to go back. Book way in advance if you want a weekend evening.
If you like a classy place with good wine, this may be suited to you. The service is good but could have been a little more welcoming with more smiles. The steaks looked well cooked and the meat was pinkish with their borders cooked. Some were better and tastier than others. We were disappointed that the Wagyu was a little dry and tougher to chew than the others. However, the onion rings is a must try. For desert, the crust on top of the creme brulee was too thick and made it hard to bite into. Not a desert you would order again. Not the most value for money if you want to have a great steak meal.
Beautiful setting and very attentive staff. My mussels were fabulous but my daughter's octopus a bit chewy. Daughter loved the horseradish with her wagu. My beef Wellington had a bit much mustard. Great wine selection.
Very nice ambience and decor. The seafood chowder and steak cuts were delicious. Mushroom sauce tasted yummier than the peppercorn. Unless you enjoy the stronger taste. Enjoyable experience. Would come again.
Good food and friendly staff with a good atmosphere. Pricey though, expect to pay a bit more for your meal. Definitely recommend if you like your steak meduim rare. We found that most of ours was more on the rare side though. 3 x vegetarian options available. Various drinks on offer.
I took my mum to Fife Lane for dinner as a birthday treat and was absolutely blown away. The service was impeccable, staff knowledgable and friendly, both food and drinks menus had extensive options and the food was tino reka – very delicious! Choosing our own steak knives also added a fun touch to the night. This was our first time dining here and I highly recommend for a thoughtful, all-round dining experience.
We visited here for my birthday. It was really great restaurant in BOP. Steak was excellent and an octopus was also fantastic : The service is also great and kind. If you are in tauranga, you should visit here.
