Enjoy waterfront dining and hospitality at Nautilus Restaurant, one of Tauranga's hidden gems.

With a unique waterfront location, Nautilus is one of the few restaurants in Tauranga that can boast spectacular views across the harbour to Mt Maunganui and Matakana.

We offer a deliciously fresh mix of European and Chinese cuisine in a buffet format.

Lunch is served from 11am - 2.30pm
Dinner is served from 5pm - Late

Lunch: Adults $19 Senior Citizens (60+) $16
Dinner Adults $31 Senior Citizens (60+) $26

Children: Up to 3yrs FREE with a paying adult
4yrs - 12yrs $1.50per year of their age

Not bad for the price. lunch for 21.90nzd. not alot of seafood.more of like a chinese buffet. sweet and sour, stirfried noodles,fish and chips. salad bar.desserts. nice view. and relaxing vibe.friendly staff.

My family and I had dinner there on Thursday 5th January 2023. First time there - we enjoyed ourselves. It was 17 of us - the food was delicious. A great selection of food, the dessert was nice too. Friendly and professional service. Although the weather wasn't that great, we still enjoyed our dinner
What a beautiful place to dine at. Our family went their for a birthday, all you can eat buffet, and right beside the lake. Huge amount of dishes to choose from. Beautiful scenery even though it was pouring with rain. Atmosphere was awesome. Staff were terrific they were always their if we needed them. Thank you Nautilus
So bad, no staff, awful food. Very sad as apparently it use to be great. One poor girl trying to be both waitress and barmaid but had no idea of alcohol at all. After 1 hour we explained what "colour" Shiraz and Chardonnay were. Not her fault, the barman didnt pitch.Food: 1/5
It was OK, they were busy we had booked and our table wasn't ready still dirty. For a table of 10 drinks came out staggered over about 20 mins and I still had to go to the bar as they forgot one. Food average, not worth $33.90. Could think of better smorgasbord restaurants. Even with it been family friendly, it was very very noisy. We won't be back
Average food topped by very poor customer service. Don’t get caught out by their dine free on your birthday either. Exactly a week to my birthday but apparently that is eight days and not within the 7 day period. Not sure when a week turned into 8 days. Won’t be going back there and definitely doesn’t get a recommendation.
What an unfortunate experience. My family and I dined here for dinner last night and while the staff were friendly we were so appalled by the food, that we had to leave and eat else where afterwards. Most of the food was next to tasteless or if it had a taste, it tasted off. The cheese and white sauce was off, the mussels tasted bizarre and there was major cross contamination of food between dishes for example we found seafood in the egg salad. Even their corn on the cob tasted funky, why?! We were very disappointed and the only outcome we got, was we are never dining or recommending anyone to dine here again. This is my honest opinion.
Wow what service, as we are in level 2 staff were serving us from the buffet, this was done with patience a smile and great service all around. To the tall young man who waited on myself thank you you were a joy to be with. Sorry I didn't get your name pat yourself on the back amazing service
