FFSTUH provides free, confidential, and non-judgmental budgeting advice to individuals and families.
The “Family Finances Service Trust - Upper Hutt” was established to take over the governance of the “Upper Hutt Budget Advisory Service”. The Service was created in 1978 by the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) Upper Hutt to meet the need for family budgeting advice in the local community. The Trust took over the Service from the CAB on July 1 2016 as a stand-alone going concern based in Bradley Lane, Upper Hutt.
The Trust is registered with New Zealand Charities Services as a Charitable Trust (CC53617) and is an affiliated member of the NZ Federation of Family Budgeting Services Inc. The Trust is actively building upon the existing provision of free, confidential, and non-judgemental advisory services and community education programs to raise the financial capability in our community. New projects – some in collaboration with other groups working in our community – are under development and will be announced here as they go live.
