We recently purchased our first Mazda and had a great experience with the service we received leading up to the sale. We had a small problem at delivery which we pointed out and it was rectified well beyond our expectations. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend based on our experience so far.
Went there this morning 25th Jan just before 9am to pick up parts that have arrived, according to a notification text recieved. I waited for at least 5 mins and pressed the buzzer twice during that time. But no one came and assist me. I can understand staff were busy. As I waited at the Spare parts counter, one can see through the door and some of staffs workstations/cubicles. The guy closest to the door was on the phone with his headset on. The lady sitting next to him was not on the phone but busy doing work on her multi screen PC. The next cubicle over at the far corner. There was a guy sitting there chatting away to aother staff who works in that cubicle.. As he was leaning on the partition/sitting on the desk edge, he was sitting at a higher position, so he could clearly and did see me on at least two occasions. He looked away each time we had eye contact but avoided further eye contact with me, He carried on chatting and laughing away with the staff at the corner cubicle.. Clearly I was invisible to him. My question here is - what could be deemed as a good service if not minimum here? Am I just a small customer to this Big dealership? At least he could have acknowledged the customerme by waving to me so I knew one of them know I was waiting at the counter. I gave up in the end. There were at least 4 staff in that Spare parts Back office but no one came and assist me. There were 3 other staff who walked past me, the lady manager from one of offices/rooms on the side greeted me as she walked pass me, she was on her way to get the main reciptionist. Two other guys walked past me and asked if I have been served. I said I was still waiting, they said staff must be busy but will be with me shortly. I also recall there was also a signage at the counter saying.. Press the buzzer, all staff are busy, they will be with customer ASAP...This type of sigane is not a pass/waiver for staff to ignore customers, or not delivering the minimum customer services. The other thing I want to add is that when I called to order the parts last Saturday- 21Jan, it was well after 9am but the main phone line kept on saying I have called outside the office hour. So there was no option for me to dial directly into Spare Parts. After few attempts over a period of 30 mins, I had to dial into the service department first, then ask the gentleman to internally transfer me to Spare parts. So it seemed the phone line/system did not switch over properly. Overall, a pretty disappointed experience for me where this transaction is concerned. Having also read other reviews on this site and for this dealership - it appears that the dealership only reply to top scored reviews but staying silent to the low score ones.
Bought my Mazda CX5 from here last year. Great service and after sales service also. Can't fault their service department also - always super helpful. Would definitely recommend

I highly recommend these guys ! Top notch service with an awesome team of staff . I purchased a 2015 Mazda 3 just from photos and talking with Barry who described the car to me over phone calls and each time he was so patient and helpful! I couldn’t just pop in and see it so had to take his word for it and Barry was absolutely right it is a great car!!! Greg was a huge help with organising finance , he was very helpful. Everyone has been a pleasure to deal with! I travelled 400ks each way to purchase it and so happy I did. The drive home was fantastic the car went so good , it keeps up going over hills and corners really good loads of gadgets and is just an all round great car thank you very much for making it such a good experience!!
Wife Purchased an ex demo 6 month old Mazda 3 from Fairview Motors. She nearly had an accident due to the brakes self applying for no reason the first time she drove it. She was too scared to drive it and I had to leave work, swap vehicles with her and drive this home with care. I checked on the Mazda New Zealand website on their campaign centre and found two outstanding safety recalls for this vehicle. They had been placed on this vehicle the month prior to buying this vehicle from Fairview Motors. We had to drive this vehicle nearly 400 Km at our cost to the closest competent Mazda dealership to have these outstanding recalls attended too. I contacted Fairview Motors, I spoke with the sales manager and dealer principle. Both fobbed me off and were very unhelpful or apologetic at all. This vehicle should have been checked for outstanding recalls prior to delivery. This had the potential to not end well and there is no excuse for it. She will not be upgrading through your company when the time comes and I will not be buying a new Ford Ranger from your company when the new version is released next year. Customers are most likely of no value to your company!
I broke down in Pirongia and was towed in to Fairview motors - I talked to someone in Ford service who was very helpful and made arrangements for a curtesy car When I picked up the car it was a current Ford Focus with all the electronics that you could wish for - Keyless start/Reversing camera etc I Really enjoyed driving this car - when I got back to my own - Wow - looked like it had been away for a Spa time - all nice shiny after they had cleaned it and the car was So nice to drive - so smooth - maybe being looked after so well by Ford made it drive better!
These people at Fairview Mazda know their stuff...very good technicians...reception staff most helpful...excellent courtesy vehicles...everything you require for your car and very quick servicing.

When I purchased my car from here they offered me 10 free service. So yesterday I took my car at 10.30am and they said it will take 3hours and I said ok. I phone up to see if the car is ready and they said no. At the end I took my car 4.45pm. Staff at the reception was unfriendly. Just because I have free service they made me very uncomfortable. They I got into my car I realised that they didn’t even vacuum the car. I was very disappointed. I don’t recommend it to anyone.
