Elegance Chinese Restaurant

We had Yum Cha Dim Sum at this restaurant. The food was really good and service was quick and efficient. The restaurant itself is pretty basic looking, but hey, the food was good. Staff came around with trollies every few minutes with a tempting array of traditional Yum Cha items as well as a few eclectic items. We sampled some Shu Mai, Prawn and scallion pancakes, pork roast, some rice pancakes with prawns, salt and pepper squid, BBQ pork buns, sesame balls, sticky rice and ice cream balls. We would recommend this restaurant and give it Parking: There is limited parking around the restaurant as it is situated off a busy street. However, there is a free parking lot about 4 mins away walk. We were there around 11 a.m. on a Saturday and we managed to snag a spot.

Used to come often with family and friends and it was decent but after coming here today, I've realised how dramatically downhill the dishes have gotten. Pork ribs had all fat and not much meat. The chang feng pastry with beef was all pastry and just fell apart like soggy noodles. The overall quality of food snd service has gone down many notches compared to before or their current peers. Will most likely not come again.

HAIR ! Got a straight black hair with white root sitting on top of the food. The portions size gets smaller each time I order.Food: 1/5

Restaurant quiet, ordered peeking duck which was nice. We then ordered a beef dish which was inedible as you couldn't chew the beef. Not too impressed with the restaurants response. Unlikely to visit again.

The worst service and food for a long time. We waited an hour for our food, and the two tables that had ordered after us got their food first. The waitresses had bad tempers and seemed really unhappy to serve us. When the food finally arrived, the tofu had gone bad and was cold in the middle, the vegetables bland, tasteless and hard to chew. The chicken was average and was cut really small so the majority of the dish was just chilli, onions and peppers. We will definitely not come again!

We went in European but were treated amazingly. The food was top notch and the portion sizes make up for the price one meal will easily feed two people or have leftovers for lunch. I'll be writing about this place in my popular food review blog and giving it 9/10. Thank you elagance for the lovely evening.

The food was OK and the price was reasonable! Impressed by the online booking system! However today we were disappointed. A large number of customers coming today, all the books were scraped. We had to wait 30 mins to be seated although we made a booking two days ago.

We ordered Har Gaow, sugared cake, and spinach prawn dumpling. They were all pretty awful. Har Gaow had lots of prawn crust and fatty pork. Sugared cake had a sour aftertaste? Probably wasn’t fresh. Spinach prawn dumplings had no spinach but it did have a lot of prawn crust. Poor service, poor quality, on the pricey end for yumcha.
