Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe ... and I picked 932 instead of 930. I wanted to order something not so heavy after all the Christmas gatherings, so I ordered 'Soy Sauce Chicken on Noodles'. It should be a very common dish for any bbq restaurant. However, I couldn't believe my eyes when they delivered the food to me - how could it look unappetizing? For a BBQ restaurant that could cook such food was really hard to achieve, and they did it. I attached a photo of my chicken noodles and the picture pasted on their wall. Although it was a picture, many restaurants could do that, just not this one.

Huge portions and delicious flavours! We always bring a container along whenever we go because there are ALWAYS leftovers, perfect to reheat for lunch the next day.

My family & I are regulars here. We travel from South Akl to get our Salt n Pepper Squid fix and Salt n Pepper Prawns and Pork on rice with Duck sauce. This place is intimate which we like, it has a family feel, very quick service. Service with a smile every time we have attended. My family & I have had zero issues for the 2-3 years we’ve been going. We’ve also taken family from overseas just to try their Squid. You haven’t had Squid until you’ve tried Mt Albert Bbq Noodle House 932. See you again real soon.

Wanted to give it a try since it’s so popular although i didn’t see many Asians inside. My friends ordered fried noodles, both salty and the shao rou roast pork was nearly black in color. I ordered eggplants pot, It was too salty and the exterior of the eggplants were not purple either.

Great food fast service and reasonably priced walked in and they sorted a table for 16 easily im going back

Excellent food and prices Very friendly special family owned restaurant. Recommended for anyone to come and try many dishes. With the cost of living today,its cheaper for me to eat at Mt Albert BBQ Noodle House than buy/cook food at home. A big thank you to everyone including the cooks in the kitchen that looks after their valuable customers as i eat there everyday.

I have been a big fan of this place since some friends took us here last year. The phrase is "quick and dirty" - and has nothing to do with the hygiene of this place. If you want hot, delicious Chinese food that is still properly priced and comes out steaming hot, this place is the place to go. Their sweet and sour pork is a staple done right sweet, sour, and crunchy and their salt and pepper chicken chop is freshly fried on the spot. If you're getting bowls of rice for a party larger than 2, they generously give you a big bowl of rice with a rice scoop so you can serve yourselves ala Chinese home style. They have large jugs of Ice cold water, free to take, or there is a fridge of different sodas and drinks to help yourself to and pay for when you finish your meal. It can be a bit cramped at times may not be necessarily wheelchair friendly but you can always squeeze in and make a bit more room. The menu is all over the place, literally. There are menus on tables as well as pictures on the wall so if you don't necessarily feel comfortable ordering, you can always point to whatever captures your fancy. They open til 12am at night so if you're ever getting a hankering for takeaways, you know where to go. They're situated on the busy on-street parking road opposite the Mt Albert Train station so if you're driving, parking might be a bit tough. There are enough buses that go round or you could take your chances with the carpark next to the row of shops by the tennis courts. Vegetarian options: The menu points out vegetarian options but as with a lot of Chinese restaurants, broths and flavourings may not be vegetarian/vegan friendly. Please ask or clarify this with staff. Parking: Parking can be difficult - there is parking in front of the shops but this can be hard to get to. Try parking round the corner or parking a little further away and walking. Otherwise, bus 66 goes by there or you can always get off at Mt Albert train station which is across the road and down stairs. Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entry into the store, may be a bit cramped due to tables and chairs.

Terribly dry crispy pork on rice. Didn't even finish it and not taking it home. I thought I would come here as the place next door was busy. It's not nearly as good.

Wan tan hor is nice and use to be Momotea Mt Albert and the chilli oil and fresh chilli is available unlimited almost
