The burritos are the largest and best tasting I have ever had. Very nice for a quick or slow lunch.
We didn't rate the coffee here and barista wasn't friendly. Luke warm flat white and a ho hum long black. Quite disappointed as Paihia is short of good coffee places, bar one, and we thought this was the one but wasn't to be.
We were excited to try this restaurant for breakfast. It is nearly 8:30am and still no one is here to open up. Very disappointed.
The must go cafe if you’re in paihia. Not much options in paihia when it comes to coffee. But this one is great and can definitely recommend!!

I used to go to El Cafe everyday whilst on a Working Holiday in New Zealand. They were very friendly about me working on the computer and using their internet. Their long black and Chai Latte was always very good. Highly recommended!
Beautiful food and atmosphere. I had the Pork 3 way and it was thoroughly enjoyable!
