Had a great experience at Charlotte's Kitchen, beautiful ambience upon entry, we arrived a little early for our booking, but the staff were very friendly and got us our seat straight away. Our food came very timely, entrees were really fresh and delicious. And the mains really well cooked, the steak was tender and juicy, and the fish was just perfect. I'd highly recommend this place on your next trip to Paihia but be sure to book early, as these guys are popular!
Went for dinner by the waters at this beautiful restaurant- definitely weren't let down from the moment we arrived, a bit early but seated immediately. Attentive and knowledgeable server. Tried the Oysters and hands down best Oysters we have had! Beautiful food overall and a scenic restaurant!
Was very windy and heavy rain but the atmosphere inside was warm and busy. Welcoming staff and one of the best beef steak I have ever had. kids enjoyed their menu mini size was really good size for my 4 year old with little left over. Food: 5/5
Beautiful restaurant right on the water, we unfortunately had a miserable wet evening for our dinner but it would be absolutely amazing to be there on a sunny evening overlooking the water! Had squid to start and they were delicious. For mains we had scotch fillet and it was cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth it was the nicest steak I've had in a long time!
Nice spot on the water. Service and food has improved significantly since last year. The pizza dough has definitely been improved to a higher standard and as a whole are much better. The burger was amazing. The sashimi is good. The oysters were good. Main concerns are that it can be a long wait to be seen at the entrance regardless of whether you have booked and the price of the pizza is very expensive. I've never seen a pizza at $32-$33 before.
Went in for lunch but they only had pizza and sides at that time which was okay with us, the pizza we had were the best pizza I had this year. thank you for friendly service much appreciated. Also they have a really good view nice to chill. Parking: street parking
The food was bloody marvelous! Atmosphere was on point, a good opportunity to have breakfast, lunch or dinner with a large group. Would definently go again, the restuarant made our visit to Paihia an enjoyable experience as a whole. Thank you to the waitress for taking dedicated group photos of us, that was much appreciated. Dietary restrictions: We had a vegan at our table of 12 and he was catered for
An exceptionally poor experience. The two sharing mains were unavailable, this should have been communicated when we were sat down. The food took a long long long time to come out... I spoke to another person on a different table to confirm that I wasn't being precious. When food arrived it was luked warm, seasoning was all over the place, the kitchen needs training or be retrained. Flavour combinations was strange and peculiar. Water glasses were left empty, one person could not wait any longer and had to service themselves, one table had to use the opportunity of the adjcent table leaving shift their dirty glasses. I defended the foh staff, to my table only to find literally the whole foh were wiping down menus, folding napkins and drying cutlery. Seriously? you need to train your foh. I have made it a point to always tip foh regardless how bad the kitchen performance was, especially as business recovered, this was the only exception in the last 24 months. I can not recommend this restaurant.
Awesome food and service, vegan food superb. Wonderful view of the water from our table. Highly recommend.
Pretty mediocre for the price tbh. Meat and fish may be better here based on other reviews, but as a vegetarian, the meals were nothing more than okay excluding the crispy potatoes - those were . Considering this was the most expensive meal we’ve had in NZ thus far, I feel it was pretty lack-lustre. Beautiful spot and friendly staff though.
