Don Luciano Café Masterton

Masterton, Wairarapa. First time to this cafe. Have seen it on a number of occassions so gave it a go for brunch. Staff very friendly, offered water while we considered the menu. We both started with flat whites, coffee was great. Ŵe then put in our order. Food arrived in a timely manner and well worth the wait. Husband had bacon and eggs, I had the Papa Bravas. Both meals well presented and very tasty.nnIt was nice to see locals there with their dogs, certainly added to the atmosphere.

Great brunch at Don Luciano. The creamy polenta with mushrooms was delicious and comforting, and the patatas bravas were crispy with really good sauces. Bright, sunny space and friendly staff. Would happily come back.

Such a great café. Great coffee. Tasty robust flavors and beautiful plating. Enjoyed the patatas bravas/shakshuka. Other visits the burrito/veg don breakfast. Nice vegetarian options.

Superb fish taco. Beautiful fresh fish, crispy batter, super fresh ingredients, avocado, cilantro, lovely side condiments, avocado and lime, and a salsa.

It was a big meal for breakfast, didn’t finish it. Interesting flavours that maybe weren’t quite for me. Loved the fact that people could bring their dogs in though
