Story

Discover Kids is my daycare solution for children in the loving and supportive environment of my Wellington family home.

A certified and qualified Porse in-home educator, I look after up to four preschool children in my home environment.

I aim to develop a child's natural curiosity with discovery, exploration, creativity and imagination. I believe that learning should be fun and that children should be given the resource to explore in a caring and supportive environment, where boundaries exist for security. It is my role to encourage children and provide suitable settings to help them discover and learn about the world around them.

Childhood discovery is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I believe it is important to allow children to explore the environment around us. So outings are incorporated into our week to maximise childhood experiences.

My home is the perfect choice, located 10 minutes from the CBD in the inner-city suburb of Ngaio. A CBD pick up and drop off service is available from a central point in the city, offering families the best of both worlds – space for learning experiences and convenience for working parents.
