Story

We are a home-based care and education service supporting families and their nannies to provide the best possible care and education for preschool children. We have been successfully placing nannies with families for over ten years and only work with qualified nannies or student nannies enrolled on our level 4 training programme.

Students enrolled in the highly practical Certificate in Early Childhood Education (Home Based/Nanny) (Level 4) course spend one day in class and four days with a family per week. These students may choose to be either a ‘live-in’ or ‘live-out’ trainee nanny and work closely with families to provide them affordable childcare, and reciprocally the training family offers students the opportunity to apply what they learn in class to a practical setting.

As licensed under the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008, Nannies Plus facilitates these relationships and helps to ensure that the best quality care is delivered to training families as well as ongoing support and career development for students from NZCC.
