Davenport Ferry Terminal is such a convenient and fun way to travel between Davenport and the city. It’s a quick trip, and the whole experience is safe, clean, and just really enjoyable—perfect whether you’re heading out with family or on your own..
I drove out to devonport to reminisce and entered through the automatic doors of the wharf.nBeautiful and inviting walking through and first store was the devonport cafe and had breakfast in there .nBack in the days corrugated iron shed like shelter lol.nAs you further walk in more stores to look at and then you have the bathrooms and the rest of the place .. ready to catch the ferry at the terminal .nNice cosy place especially on a sunny day .
Devonport is the place to be. The Devonport Naval Base is being upgraded over the next 35 years with a $40 Billion budget set by PM Christopher Luzon. In Devonport you can get help if you are homeless. The aging population of the Real Estate property owners will be listing & selling their land and houses to the highest bidder. The Devonport Area is highly prized due to it's unique War History. I urge everyone to learn about the world famous history of Devonport. Go to Devonport spend you're money their. They NEED YOU NOW.......!!! THE TIME IS UP THEY NEED YOU NOW.
The Devonport Ferry Terminal is a charming gateway to one of Auckland’s most picturesque suburbs. The terminal itself is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, with clear signage and friendly staff ready to assist.nnThe ferry ride to and from Devonport is a highlight—it’s quick, smooth, and offers stunning views of the Auckland skyline and harbor. It’s an affordable and enjoyable way to travel, whether you’re commuting or sightseeing.nnWhile the terminal facilities are generally good, adding more seating and upgrading the waiting area would make the experience even better during peak times.
Wonderful place to visit or just take a nice stroll along the waters edge and watch the ferry's coming n going or just relaxing in one of the many bars or cafes around Devonport to just chill out for a whole day's outing by yrself or with the whole family, you wont be disappointed or bored.
