No need to bend over to pick strawberries! Love this place! The price is reasonable too! The service was great! We will definitely come again!

The owner is friendly, and picking is easy because there are two levels and you can come while standing. Children can reach the low shelves. Although the farm is small compared to others, it is spacious enough that we could eat delicious and fresh strawberries even though it was the end of the season. I was able to buy strawberries at a very reasonable price without paying an admission fee. I would like to come a little earlier next year. Thank you very much!

Family owned and operated orchardsnnMy husband and I went there and picked our own. These were our observations:nn1. Very hospitable family team that know how to communicate with customers in a proper way. Met the initial owner Arthur who is 94 years of age and yet still up and around like a 30-year-old. Also, we met a lady Yvonne who has a very pleasant and likeable personality. She’s very associate about his father’s business. His son Anthony is working hard but we couldn’t speak to him.nn2. Strawberries are elevated up from the ground, growing in two layers of shelves; therefore, it’s easy to pick without bending and yet the strawberries are still very tasty.nn3.Very clean and well-maintained operation.nn4. Strawberry PYO is going to close by the end of this month. Apple picking will start in April.nnWe have visited most of the strawberry farms in Auckland and in my opinion, Danube Orchards is the best one so far.

The great experience for strawberry pickup and reasonable rate. Children's will love and enjoy the place. The owners are warm and friendly. Next time also we will visit.

Best value and tastiest strawberries in Auckland. You don’t have to break your back bending down to find them as they allow for high picking! Fantastic farmers!
