Very clean, spacious rooms with comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Only criticism is there were only 2 tea bags and 2 coffee sachets in the room so one tea and coffee each however you could get more down in reception area but you don't realise you need them til you get to the room.Rooms: 4/5
Thoroughly enjoyed my weekend break. Quiet, clean and comfy. Kenny was the most courteous, helpful and professional chap you could wish for, and Amy wonderful Amy was so lovely too. Thank you for looking after me. Will return one day soon I'm sure. Jolly good. Rooms: Just the job Food & drinks: Food was hot and yummy. Varied menu. Everything available. Great. Very nice. Only slight negative was little choice at the bar. But I survived. Noteworthy details: Super Amy give her a raise
Clean , new rooms - the entire building seems quite new. Had dinner in the restaurant and the food was good. The receptionist and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful
Had a great stay, staff sooo friendly and helpful Beth especially breakfast chef very helpful, evening meal floor staff/waitress spot on with recommendations for food and brandy!! What can you say " premier Inn" says it all, highly recommend Nearby activities: Walking distance to Marlborough and local forest, Wooton Rivers and Avebury Rings within 10/15 minutes drive Stonehenge 20 minutes.plenty to do in a two night stay Walkability: Very central to Marlborough,10 minutes stroll max, scenic town and quiet with a few pubs!!
Friendly welcome free parking quite location in a excellent position for our long weekend activities. The hotel has its own restaurant if you just want to sit and relax after your drive. Short drive ftom Marlborough high street, and opposite a Tesco's store. The room we had was a small double with a walk in shower has we had requested. All the equipment was in good working order and we had a comfortable and quite stay
Overnight stop over as I needed to be somewhere first thing in the morning. The food was better than I've eaten in some restaurants so I'm very pleased with that. The room was comfy, clean, and quiet, though the ceiling set up was a little strange. I understand that it was on the top floor, but it is a purpose built setting, so this seems a bit of an oversite from the planners. The staff were all very smart, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
Room generally good, but service not. Had to check in using the machine as no one at reception and we couldn't get a table to eat even though it was half empty and 8.30pm which didn't make sense. On our next visit we have just tried to phone to book a table to be told reservations are closed by an answering machine @ 3.30pm and to book on line. You can't book a table on line though, and it didn't even say when it's open. We have noticed a drop in standards recently. No decaf coffee in the rooms any more and only 1 sachet each so if you have a drink in the evening, no coffee in the morning. Sad really, because we always used to love Premier.
Excellent Premier Inn, much better than other 3 have stayed in during past week. Friendly, welcoming staff, all very helpful. Lovely and clean. Restaurant nice and good food, cooked and served well. Only negative was very limited bar.
Stay here every year as it's just up the road from Avebury. It's a modern, recently built Premier Inn in a peaceful location and with a restaurant on site and Tesco and a petrol station across the road. Walkability: 5 minute walk from the centre of Marlborough.
The staff were helpful but let down by a failure in the card payment system, so when I went to the restaurant to eat and drink it was a "cash only" affair. Dinner was thus reduced to a starter portion of chicken wings 2nd choice as there were no fish goujons available and a side salad since I only had one £10 note in my wallet. Naturally, I left the 53 pence after paying the bill with my £10 as a tip for the staff. Food & drinks: A really fresh and crisp side salad. Noteworthy details: Easy to find, access and park.
