Copthorne Hotel Greymouth

We were here for a stopover. The hotel is absolutely perfect for this. Super clean, large, modern room with bathroom and balcony. Very friendly and courteous staff. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. The hotel is very centrally located and it's easy to find a parking space.

First time here and NO AIR-CONDITIONING in the whole hotel. As a result you have to have the balcony door open for any air. PS your neighbour room door is on the same balcony so no security.... just honesty. A fan in your room. Rated 3 stars and it fits perfectly. Really tired and run down on the outside but the rooms have been revamped. Neat clean and tidy. You get what you pay for. Breakfast Included.nReminds me of the time warp cafe....

Me and my family stayed here during our West Coast holiday trip early January 2026. It really surpass my expectation, loved the room specially the balcony view, the location is great, and the staff are all nice. It was also very peaceful during our 3 days stay, no noise. Will surely try other Copthorne hotel in other areas as well.

Room was outdated and in need of repair.nNo ventilation.nAt breakfast waited an hour for a clean cup to make a cup of tea, left without a cup of tea.nService was non existent.nTables were not cleared ready for guests.nProbably the worst in house breakfast ext.
