Cook's Lookout Motel

This is an amazing place. The room is cozy and the view of it was terrific. We've seen the sunrise just from the deck outside of the room. The owners are a lovely couple. Planning to go back again and stay longer next time.

Stayed at Cooks Lookout for our Anniversary - such a nice place to stay and to top things off Norm & Shelagh were such great hosts ! Thank you for such a great stay !

Not what they claimed....disappointed. Should have searched more as there are much better places for lesser price.

Perfect location with stunning views overlooking Waitangi and Russell- 6 min drive to Paihia waterfront. Norm and Sheila are friendly informative hosts. The rooms and property are spotlessly maintained- we would definitely stay again

Also states on their website “ A tastefully renovated Motel. We’ll never be 5 Star – but we’ll always be “Special”. Thus acknowledging they are shocking to deal with

Appalling service from the owners. Our first interaction with the owner upon arrival was unprofessional. They decided what type of people we might be, made comments about it and made us feel so uncomfortable that we barely spent anytime in our accommodation. Wouldn’t recommend.

If I could leave NO stars, I would. The owners were absolutely rude and unprofessional. The woman owner didn’t seem at all concerned about her behavior. Just don’t book here.
