Rescuing backyard fruit, distributing it to those in need, through Kaibosh Food Rescue and local Foodbanks. We are part of a nationwide network
of groups under the "Community Fruit" banner.
Many homes have fruit trees that produce too much for the owners to use. Our team of willing volunteers harvest the fruit which is then distributed to those in need in the community through Kaibosh Food Rescue and local Foodbanks. Property owners who contact us know that their fruit is going to people who need it, and it reduces food waste. Some fruit is made into preserves which are also distributed through Kaibosh, food banks and school food programmes.
