About

InsideOUT is a national organisation which works to make Aotearoa a safer place for all young people of minority sexualities, genders and sex characteristics live and be in.

Mission

To ensure that youth, whanau, schools, community groups, youth services, government agencies and other relevant organisations engage with the QSA model in order to decrease homophobic and transphobic bullying, provide safe spaces for queer youth and generally improve the health and wellbeing of queer youth.

To build and provide resources, education, information and relevant tools which engage youth to effectively set up and maintain QSAs in schools.

To provide opportunities for people to connect and build capacity through regional and national hui.
