Vanderson and the club made my first BJJ experience an awesome one. They were patient and made sure that I felt welcome, taking time to explain and guide me through different moves. I left feeling motivated!

As a visiting white belt I was welcomed warmly and also informed clearly of the etiquette and safety protocols leaving no confusion and making me feel instantly comfortable. The club itself is pristine, the students friendly helpful and humble, and professor Vanderson a superb teacher to learn from. Will certainly be back

I have been training here for a few weeks and it is awesome. Very clean. Very welcoming. Vanderson is a great teacher, the first thing he communicated to me was that the most important thing in the combat room is respect and safety. It is a great learning environment in which he has cultivated a very supportive community. I feel like I have improved a lot just in the short time I have been there.

I trained at Combat Room for three weeks in March 2020. What can I say? The gym is VERY clean and well maintained. Vanderson is a great teacher and friend. He has created an amazing environment for all levels to come together and get better. The guys and girls! at the gym were very nice and made me feel welcome. Looking forward to training with Vanderson again next time I am in Wellington!

I absolutely love training here. There is such a positive attitude throughout the members and teachers at the club. Ive trained before at a couple places back home and when I moved here I originally came to the club with the intention of checking out the other gyms in the city but after my first session it felt like home. I truly can't recommend this place more.

Very welcoming and friendly gym. Professor Vanderson has created a great environment that is welcoming to all, He is also an extremely skilled and knowledgeable Brazilian Jiujitsu blackbelt.
