Pick this restaurant for dinner at random as it is a rainy day and we just checked in at a motel in town, and time is running late. And it turns out to be a great choice. Friendly staff, cozy environment, daily catch is beyond expectation, really like the sauce served with the daily catch. Steak and lamb are fine. It will be good choice if planning a road trip around Ashburton District or on your way to Dunedin.

We went here with friends from England.nWe were all very impressed with the food and the service.nThey said the food was as good as if not better than anything they would get back home.nThe price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food we received.nThe service was excellent.

Food was absolutely incredible. We had pork dumplings, calamari and prawns. For mains we had steak, chicken breast and Chicken schnitzel. Desert we had mango sorbet and a salted caramel espresso martini. Coming from Perth WA, this food is way better. Thank you Nikita and staff for an incredible experience

Perfectly cooked eggs, perfectly toasted bread nnThe kids were so happy with their waffles, and after tasting them I agreed they were better than mine nnThis is a big complement from two fussy children who never like anything better than mummy's food. But they were the best waffles we have ever had! 100% the best breakfast we have had, complements to the chef! We are very fussy and this met and exceeded our expectations!nnService from all staff members was also excellent, lovely friendly girls, and the environment was enjoyable too.nnWe will definitely be back to try everything else
