Best gym eva! Have been a member for over 3 years and love the whole gym vibe and staff are very friendly and accomodating. Awesome well equipped gym with alot of open space to allow members freedom to maneuver around and train. Other members are generally friendly also and will help out if assistance is required and offer tips.

The best gym! I am so pleased to finally find a gym that is spacious, clean, and have friendly staff. I enjoy my early morning sessions, the atmosphere is awesome, and is not so busy at 4am. Definitely recommend CityFitness Hastings.

This gym is accessible 24/7 with certain memberships It is a large gym that is always tidy and clean. There is heaps of equipment. Three flat bench press, 3 squat racks a cage and a Smith machine. The changing rooms are well lit and inviting with a lot of lockers. There is even an ironing board and iron. There are two separate rooms for group fitness with multiple classes run daily. There are several zones for stretching or foam rolling. There are several trainers working here male and female, all with qualifications. There are even two massage chair which are pretty amazing available to black card members. If you are into Olympic lifting then this gym is not for you as there are no platforms or bumper plates. There are so many machines it is crazy, ranging from cable chest press, leg press, shoulder press, fly machine etc. To unusual machine such as a glute kickback. I've never even heard of anyone getting in trouble for grunting or lifting heavy

Very busy between 5pm and 9pm. Certain machines and spaces are not enough and sometimes you have to wait for two hours before they are available. Groups of people play and talk around the machines and the staff do nothing, not even pay attention, even if they are disturbed by people who do not know whether they are there to train or to have a conversation. Staff work better in other city fitness outlets. People who come to play in groups are very uncomfortable.

lots of spacious parking and accessible from all directions. this location is by far the best place to have a business double doors make for easy access for disabled clients also and that's a big plus nowadays. will give higher stars if and when I use the gym then I'm able to give a better rating. I've got my own fitness plan going so I'm not using any gyms ATM but this establishment looks welcoming . watch this space

Huge gym facility, but during rush hours afternoon after work hours and morning before work hours not much space and machine to use.

Nice layout, I always struggle to connect to the audio system that links to the tv programmes. It shouldn't be that difficult........ but it is. Wifi also difficult to connect, won't accept email or password which hasn't changed for me

Good gear.could possibly double up on a few machines.

Love the atmosphere people an parking just would be nice to utilize those rooms when not in use or some shelf in the showers to hold our shampoos etc other then that staff there are awesome

Make you jump through loops to cancel, required to give 4 weeks notice when I'm paying a premium for a monthly plan with supposedly no contract. Want to go on hold for a month or two - oh, that comes at a cost and you'll need to give them notice of that too. Crooks
