China, as an emerging international power is an obviours reality in the early decades of the 21st century. This reality has resulted in much debate even suspicion in the international community about whether China will contrinously rise peacefully or rise with threat to international stability. It is important to have a clear-sighted view of China's likely place in the world, what this may mean globally, and what is the historical root that results in the perceived images or imagination of today's China.
