It’s a hit or miss with Waitangirua Chicken Shack. Numerous visits and it’s a mix of either great food or disgusting food. So it’s a gamble you take. But that’s takeout right.nnMy 2 star rating is due to the fact that regardless of it being local and many visits due to pretty much taking a gamble on whether the food will be good this time round. My family family of 5 have gotten Food Poisoning.nnAnd this is a common thing with Chicken Shack. Not only my own family but I know of a few families that I have spoken to that have gotten food poisoning and haven’t returned.nnSuch a sad experience as a lot of my previous visits have actually been a hit. Great food, nice, hot & ready. Especially the chicken nibbles for my children!nnVery disappointed this time round though. The food poisoning came from the Chicken Fillet Burger.
The service is far from ideal, where customers waiting 25 minutes to order are not prioritized before the counter staff answer the phone to take orders.nThe ban maree of chicken and chips has no chips.nThe prices of Chinese meals seems reasonable in comparison to other shops.
Tried getting food from here, didn’t end up getting the stuff I wanted. If you want food from here go somewhere else otherwise you will be waiting 3 hours for food that you didn’t even get to try. Would give a food review but didn’t get any food to eat. Felt hungry and angry
Chicken is nChicken fried rice is a winner in Porirua.nFamily packs are well worth ya money.nThe 6 wing and chips meal is a Wow factor
Good service best underdone chips and the atmosphere is so good especially at 6pm food smells great
