Been here a few times as it’s local to my in-laws. Crab stick was a bit bland, fish burger was a good size and tasted ok, mussels were crumbed and it was a bit dry. The chips were yum as it had a bit of crunch and was fluffy inside.
Went with a mix of fish, crabstick, paua fritter, scallops, mussels, oysters, spring roll, potato fritters, and kumera chips. Came with a wedge of lemon, and sour cream for the chips. This is the best cooked seafood that I have ever eaten. Everything was cooked to perfection and not greasy or oily. The quality is the best I have ever encountered. I give them 10/10.
sorry for the bad rating but i ordered chicken strips and chips and i got sick from the chicken. i ate 2 days ago i feel sick now. because the chicken was raw. was frozen in the middle. 2 of them was algds but the other 2 was raw. im felling like to vomit. no good.
We have never been disappointed with the food since they opened, and the service over the counter & by phone, has been exceptional. Great to see the staff are treated well too.
Food is always great here. Oil tastes clean everytime too. Definitely a family favourite for us
