I love the convenience and most of the outsourced product lines, Cherrywood Butchery is a great asset for the community, the service is excellent and we are regular customers. My one criticism would be the in-house produce uses way too much salt as the main flavouring. Time to get more adventurous and health conscious
One of the last remaining 'proper' butcheries around! We love how they display the meats in the front window. Really nice food creations that you wouldn't find in a supermarket. Also friendly butchers behind the counter. Desmond Martin was the original owner and he would be happy to know that meat is still being sold from his shop.
Recently had the need for a Turkey to celebrate Mid Winter Christmas Canadian Style. Couldn't find one anywhere but had purchased from Cherrywood a number of times in the past so tried them. Didn't have a full turkey but had a Turkey Roll recommended that would feed the number of guests that I had coming. Gave me an excellent price, and held it for me for pick up. It was amazing - cooked properly, it fed my guests with a tiny bit remaining to add to soup the next day. Would highly recommend this butchery - always go out of their way to help. Thanks Dan and staff!
Wasn't sure what I wanted for dinner and my choice was made harder here, so many beautiful meaty treats! Brought an amazing brisket and slow cooked it on the Webber for 5 hours YUM so tender

Wow love this place. Amazing food. My son loves sausages and I brought him here to choose some. They were delicious. The man at the counter had great customer service skills. And happily explained the different types of sausages to my 10 year old son. Thanks for making my lil guys day.
My wife bought some eye fillet from you yesterday. It was not cheap but then you can't put a price on quality. It was the best piece of steak I have ever eaten. It was so tender that I cut a piece off using the back of the knife. I can't rate this steak highly enough.
Yesss Dean did use to work here and did make a few mistakes. He was the sausage maker. As always this butchery has a nice selection a steaks and sausages. Good customer service with a few jokes. Desmond Martin was and always be good with the local customers. Recommended Butchery!
Have been going to this butcher for 10 years and had lovely experiences.. until a few mouths ago when I asked for 4 scotch filets.... and when I got home I had 1 scotch filet and 3 rump steaks big difference!!!! Have not been back since... sad how one experience has changed my perception of this business.
Very disappointing. I got some Steak caprice’s which was steak/sundried tomato wrapped in pastry and the steak was off! Smelled off when I unwrapped them but gave it the benefit of the doubt, after cooking and cutting into them they stunk! Disgusting. We will not be back. Not good enough!
