I was so happy when this place opened! They have supplements in more than 30 per bottle. A great selection of health and beauty supplies. There wasn't anywhere like this in Whangarei. You can get good deals on protein powder but it's usually sold out with no stock left. Get there early!
Prescription service? Forget it, go elsewhere unless you want your mood changed. Apart from a woman named Kelly, there doesn't seem to be 1 person in this department for the right reasons and they need to move on to a different company as they have ruined it for this branch's prescription department. There are 2-3 males in particular over the last handful of months that are extremely rude, ignorant, non-apologetic and down right unprofessional. I have stood in the queue copious amounts of times, calling the prescription department, who have deliberately taken their phones off the hook. I have had copious amounts of experience aswell as witnessed many patients be told they need to hang around for 30 - 60mins for prescriptions to be ready, that items are out of stock, that they can't find the script in the system and more. They need staff dedicated to answering ph calls and getting repeat scripts picked & packed ready for collection, need to take responsibility for their muck-ups instead of passing the blame, have some consideration and learn a thing or two about being professional with people who have medical needs and customers in general as they are locals and helping your paycheck - if you can't do the bare basics of being a decent human, then you're in the wrong job.nKeep in mind - Chemist Warehouse isn't the only place to give free prescriptions.
Unbelievable service from the chemist. He saw me standing there for at least 30 minutes, then proceeded to tell his workmate to wait because he has a person staring at him. I told him that I need to speak to him regarding my pills. Went on about trying to fix another problem. Then requested I talk to a staff member about my problem. He didn't know my problem because he didn't ask. I needed some advice regarding my prescription after my heart valve replacement. Very unprofessional, needs more training.
Find their assistance amazing, they are so busy, yet will go out of their way to assist. I think some customers can be difficult to deal with, wonder if you could present yourself with a smile with some of the customers. Ask yourself would you like their position.
This store is shocking I picked up a lip balm and asked is this the best one , and I showed it too her and all she did was read the packet and said this is good for your lips no idea why she didn't show me the other products just felt like she wanted it over ND done with not good customer service at all
