Vision:
To provide the experience of both competitive and recreational cheerleading in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Mission:
Cheer Addiction will stand apart by being a highly successful cheerleading club, without sacrificing sportsmanship character or integrity. we uplift and empower our athletes by providing qualified, high quality instructors and exceptional role models. Cheer Addition will strive to positively support the growth of cheerleading in New Zealand and more specifically the Waipa region.

Core Values

Safety - safety of our athletes is an upmost priority of Cheer Addiction. Cheerleading can be a very dangerous sport if the correct safety procedures and rules are not put in place. Cheer Addiction will always teach a clear and precise understanding of all rules and procedures to all athletes. Athletes will be taught the correct techniques and skill and will be updated as or if the rules change. Cheer Addiction will always train on cheerleading safety mats and supervised by a coach at all times. All head/Senior coaches will be trained and qualified by the United States All Start Federation (USASF) and the New Zealand Cheerleading Union (NZCU) Head/Senior coaches will be first aid trained and will attend all educational/training courses provided by the NZCU or any other programmes that may benefit the coaches ability/skills. Junior Coaches will be trained by head/senior coaches and have the opportunity to go to all educational/training courses and first aid courses provided by the NZCU or any other programmes that may benefit the coaches ability/skills. Junior coaches will always be supervised by a Head/Senior coach.

Education- Cheer Addiction values education in a variety of ways. In order to be a successful cheerleading club and business it is imperative that coaches are kept up to date with the new trends and skills within the industry. The rules in cheerleading are forever changing and Cheer Addiction will commit to furthering knowledge in the industry. It will be compulsory for Head/Senior coaches to be USASF qualified and attend all NZCU educational/training courses these coaches will then hold workshops to pass on knowledge and skills where it will be compulsory for junior classes to attend this ensure all coaches are teaching the same and have the same understanding of new skills/trends etc. Cheer Addiction will also strive to continually gain knowledge in business development and innovation, be being educated in the business field and understanding how to run a successful business will allow Cheer Addiction to run with ease and provide an exceptional cheerleading experience.

Athletic achievement and enjoyment- Cheer Addiction strives to provide an exceptional cheerleading experience. we want our athletes to have the same passion and determination for this sport as we did ourselves in our personal experience, we also hope to share the valuable lessons that cheerleading had taught us such as; determination to succeeded commitment to your team, discipline, strength - both physical and mental, build relationships and trust and most importantly to have fun. By providing a large diversity of classes for all people types, ages and ability it allows athletes to participate in classes they enjoy and benefit the most from. Cheer Addiction strives to make classes as enjoyable as we can while motivating and pushing all completive athletes to do their and by finding new exciting ways to teach cheerleading to our recreational athletes. With such diversity and selection cheerleaders will continue to enjoy the sport and be successful in there competitions and personal goals.

Team work - Cheerleading is entirely based on team work and commitment and plays a major role in being a successful cheerleading club and business. The value and importance of team work and commitment is a skill Cheer Addiction will strive to teach all at athletes, this lesson is rewarding in the athletes cheerleading as well as their personal life. Cheer Addition staff will also be taught the value of team work and commitment, all staff will strive to work together with the same vision and goal in mind at all times, staff will work together and use each other's strengths to an advantage in return making the club strong and team focused.




Cheer Addiction is only located in the Waikato area.
