When trying a new Indian restaurant I always get a hot spiced Chicken Jalfrezi as my test plate. Sadly here I was disappointed with the fare. Little flavour with only mild spices and rather on the dry side. It was also full of cooked peas which is my pet hate lol. A personal choice that some may see as a positive but not me. Service was quick and the mango lassie was nice. Lunch special was reasonably priced but serving size on the smaller side to other places.
Lovely wee little place. Small, not very fancy but the food is hands down delicious. Service was good, had dosa and chicken vindaloo
tried this dosa about three years ago when I was one and a half months pregnant, and I still remember how delicious it tasted. I recently went back again after my baby is now one and a half years old, and the dosa tasted just as amazing as before! The flavor, the crispiness, and the consistency are still perfect. Truly one of the best dosas I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!
Went at this lovely South Indian restaurant for dinner last night, we ordered Samosa chat as entree, mysore masala dosa, cheese dosa and plain dosa for mains. All the food is absolutely delicious and the dosa is very crunchy which I love the most also the coconut chutney and red chutney are delicious. Must try dosa from Chanakya one of the best in town highly recommend. There are sitting area in the restaurant but very limited. Don’t forget to book the table cause it’s always busy and hard to get table for dine in.
We visited this South Indian restaurant today and were a bit confused as there was no one at the front to guide us. We weren’t aware that table booking was required today, as it’s usually not needed. It would really help if there was a staff member or a sign at the entrance to let customers know about bookings. The food here has always been great, but a little more communication at the front would make the experience even better.
