Story

Join owner/skipper Mike Hanham on Da Rottie, for fishing and diving around the Mercury Islands. The scenery on land includes wildlife reserves and beautiful beaches. On the water there is also the Te Whanganui-a-hei (Cathedral Cove) Marine Reserve.

We have special fishing/diving packages available. We offer charter to Cuvier Island, Slipper Island, Mercury Island, Alderman Island, Cathedral Cove and wherever YOU like to go.

I went out with a large group of friends and family, We all had an amazing time and Mike was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this business!!

I booked a half day fishing trip with my sons and wife.  Mike was a great host.  We caught so many fish and had such a fun day out.  Showed us the good spots, we had a great time catching lots of snapper, even a kingy.  He gave us tea and coffee, their was a toilet on board, the boat was kitted out, really great set up.  Recommend to everyone.

We had an awesome time on Catch Charters yesterday. Mike has a great boat with good gear and is very helpful as well as casual and relaxed! We caught tonnes of great size kingies, for hours we were all winding in big decent fish! Thank you

Fantastic day out! Bruce went out of his way to make the day extremely enjoyable for all and ensured we took home a great feed. Many species caught and returned to the ocean, and a lot of great banter on board. This is my second trip with Catch Charters, and certainly not my last. I highly recommend!

Paul and Wendy had the 'Perfect' day  with Mike today  - we catch 6 different species of fish. Largest - 7.2 kg Snapper. Thanks Mike it really was a PERFECT DAY!!!

Awesome day out on the water. Mike is a great skipper and certainly knows where the snapper are. If your looking to do a fishing charter in the Coromandel definitely book with Catch Charters.
