I stopped in for a latte that was one of the best I have had in a while. It was very strong but I love it that way. Then I had to try a lolly cake. I had read that this is a unique thing in New Zealand and wanted to try one. It is like a brownie with lollies baked inside. It is very sweet and could only eat a small portion of it but enjoyed the experience.
Nice cafe on the main strip, however the 3 star review is due to the lengthy delay between ordering our food and receiving our food. Fortunately we weren’t in a rush, however we were starving by the time the food arrived… 45 minutes later. Staff had to be asked multiple times for its status. There’s a large outdoor section which is great for sunny days. The coffee was good, nothing special and the prices were as expected.
Looking for a bite to eat while a little worse for wear. Great little place. With great friendly staff. And outdoor seating. Food was great and the service was fast. Only negative. Through no one's fault. There were three homeless people walking through the outdoor seating area looking for money... Sad to see this at 8 am in the morning. And not the Cafe fault. Kid-friendliness: Great little feed for the small humans.
Terrible service. OK food. Very averege coffee. You can't charge close to $70 for a couple eating breakfast if you can't do basics like greet them, seat them and fetch them some water. Food was a little one dimensional but at least it was prompt as we couldn't wait to leave.
Last week I went to this Cafe for breakfast. The food, ambiance and service is good.Recommended dishesEggs Benedict, Pancakes, Avocado Pile Up

The burger was outstanding, the baristas were excellent, the vibes were immaculate. 10/10 will be back soon
The Cappadonna Cafe caught our eye as we were passing while looking for a breakfast location. The menu options are extensive and unique. Our meals we prepared quicly and did not disappoint. If you are looking for a great place for breakfast, lunch our just a coffee give Cappadonna Cafe a try, highly recommended.
Food was lovely, cafe is really nice, lovely sitting outside on a sunny day. Food was brought to us quickly and all round satisfied. Did seem expensive for the 3 of us but then thats everywhere now I guess.Food: 5/5
Delicious somptous deserts and coffee choices. I had the Chai latte with Almond milk and it was amazing. Rich and sweet with a lot of kick. As deserts, we could wait to try them before I took the picture. It was a thick and creamy cheesecake and a delicious muffins. Good service, polite but slow for the coffee and tea.. We were done eating when they got to our table.
