My family booked several rooms for the weekend and all found the spaces provided to be comfortable, clean and well kept.nThe amenities were great and the space would be ideal for families with children as the grounds are well set up to keep them entertained.nThe location was perfect as all the shops were in walking distance.nThe owner/manager was very agreeable and pleasant to chat to. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We would recommend this space to any and all that pass through Matamata.
A clean property, friendly host, a spacious room, although the bathroom was small, the towels were luxurious. As for the extra large double bed - that was heavenly. Home away from home without the cleaning. This was the best motel stay we have ever had. Thanks
My son and I visited New Zealand 2nd trip in 11 months, and finally got to visit Hobbiton. We needed a place to stay overnight in the area and we chose the Broadway Motel - I’m so glad we did. The rooms were spacious, clean, contemporary, and very comfortable. They are also just steps from some very nice restaurants and cafes. If you find yourself in Matamata and you REALLY DO want to find yourself there and elsewhere in New Zealand, stay at Broadway. You’ll be so glad you did.
Loved everything about this place especially how quite and comfortable it is. Bed super comfy and all the amenities you need. Host is lovely and it's easy to find
We stayed one night before going on the Hobbiton tour. Overall great value. The rooms were clean and spacious. Location was ideal for walking to restaurants and coffee shops.nnIf I was ever back in the area I would stay here again.
