Botticelli

Offering a range of traditional Italian options, Botticelli feels like a restaurant straight out of Italy. Both a bar and a restaurant, they offer a great range of in-house pizzas and pastas. I had ordered their popular fettuccine con capesante e salmone which was balanced in taste overall but the presentation was unfortunately poor, furthermore only a small amount of salmon was present in the dish. There was more watery sauce to weight and I suspect as if the scallops were frozen as they did not taste fresh. Their handmade fettuccine noodles were great nonetheless and staff were very kind. I'd say it is quite expensive for what they offer.

Beautifully authentic Italian local with a great vibe. Incredible gluten free options and very accomodating. Be sure to check out their music events too.

Great food and service excellent, we arrived with no booking and we still get accommodated as normal. Best pizza ever. Kid-friendliness: Menu has options and ice cream

Incredible place. Delicious food, lovely friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend and I'll be going back for sure. Vegetarian options: Plenty available but ask for no mushroom if you're not a fan.

Had a fabulous Thursday night here. Delicious seafood pasta with a great bottle of Italian red. Wonderful jazz band and singer through out the night, with some guests slotting in piano, clarinet and vocals. Staff welcoming and great service. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5

Arrived for dinner at 5:30pm to be told from the manager we have to be finished by 7pm that was okay ordered straight away got our entree and drinks in 20 mins but our food took over an hour so ended up leaving due to it was 6:45pm and still no food. So we just left had free drinks and entree

“THE WORST ITALIAN PLACE OUT OF ALL THE ITALIAN RESTAURANTS IN NEW ZEALAND , A TYPICAL MOOD SPOILER’’ The pregnant lady on the reception is extremely rude, may be she needs more customer service training. I mean we can expect a little politeness with such a good restaurant. Long wait time for drinks, probably you’ll need to remind them you have ordered some drinks. Food is okay but the customer service is one of the worst I’ve ever experienced in any of Italian restaurants.

Although fully booked on the evening we chose to visit, they brought in a table from outside especially for us. Food was delicious, wine gorgeous and a lovely atmosphere Food: 5/5

Mmmm… service was touch and go the lady would forget we asked for water then when we called her back she took a knife with her because I don’t know why so we were missing a knife, the garlic bread was very average as it tasted like oil soaked bread and so did the margarita pizza… one server was very good probably about 22 years old dark hair, very quick on her feet, knew what she was doing and remembered our order, and she helped us when the older lady left… the Filet Mignon was probably what took this up from 2 stars to 3… other than that maybe it will be better if we returned on a not so busy night
