I would give 10 stars if I could. Paul did a fantastic job and he explained everything so easily considering I knew nothing about my lawnmower. Thankyou so much Paul !!
I bought a mower at one of the large chain hardware places. Straight out the box there was an issue with hinge on the back flap. I called Bob's because I knew the sales assistants where I bought it probably wouldn't be able to help. I was told it was a five minute fix and to bring it straight in. I wasn't even charged and got excellent advice on the right fuel and oil to use and to apply an automotive undercoat inside the body to prevent rust. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and great service.
Paul at Bob's Mowers was very friendly and helpful. A fantastic local business which goes the extra mile. It's so much nicer to deal with a small local business than the big chains. Thank you Paul.
I went to Bobs mowers , what a awesome looking old shop I love it ,it reminds me of the old days .I went in looking for the masport mower I needed and Paul had the exact mower I needed for the job which is awesome , Paul was very helpful and very friendly he doesn’t rush you or make you feel pressured and he is willing to give options or he will say have a think about it and pop back which is excellent customer service . Any way awesome thanks to his mechanic Clint he was a massive help giving me some advise before I grabbed the mower and did a full check over the mower and a service before it left the shop . I personally highly recommend Bobs mowers , We should all support the little guy in three kings he’s the only one left in the area , the old saying is if we don’t support him we loose him and we don’t want that so let’s support kiwi
He's brilliant, he tells you what you're doing wrong, saves himself a job and me some money, all in a few minutes. Seriously recommended. Many thanks Bob.
In August I purchased a Masport multi-tool hedge trimmer extension online from Hawke's Bay and as of today I've still not seen the purchased product or had the money refunded for non-delivery. I've spoken with Paul on numerous occasions, emailed and also by text and always he has promised that he'd get it sorted but still nothing. Wouldn't be able to recommend this business.
We bought our lawn mower from Paul and the team at Bobs Mowers about 5 years ago. When we first got it we received really great advice about the different options, and specifically about the self mulcher which has saved me so much time mowing the lawns and not having to use a catcher - best advice ever! We’ve gone back every year for servicing and getting things fixed and they’re really great to deal with. Super knowledgeable, friendly, well priced and experienced. We also got a new weed eater from them and that’s been a great purchase too. Very much recommend these guys they know their lawn mowers!!!!!
Bobs mowers came highly recommended by a professional gardener. Previously had experienced poor service local to my home. I found the team to be friendly and professional. The job turn around was great. Text message to advise that my garden power tools were ready. The high recommendation was certainly correct. Worth the extra distance to get quality service. AA++
Awesome service, dropped mower Friday and requested urgent service, it was fixed and ready for collection on Monday! I had no idea what the problem was mower is several years old and discussed buying a new one. Rather than selling me a new one, my mower was fixed for very little cost. Highly recommend
My 7 year old lawnmower was rattling and overheating. It's never been serviced, so I was prepared to purchase a new one if it was too much to repair. Grateful that they were able to provide a quote, then repair and service the lawnmower at a reasonable agreed price. Friendly service and received lawnmower back within 2 working days.
